Who are the Instructors? Game-U Instructors are all experienced videogame professionals who have worked for some of the top names in the industry, such as Microsoft, Sony, EA, LucasArts, Activision, and more.
Madeleine holds a bachelorās degree in Game & Interaction Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She specializes in 3D modeling, 2D animation, concept art, and UI design/implementation, and is familiar with C# and C++. She has a great deal of experience in all of these arenas. Prior to her career at Game-U, she worked as the 2D Art Supervisor for Drop Bear Games, leading a small team of artists in the creation of 2D game assets, and even now continues honing her skills as a freelance Illustrator/Graphic Designer. She also played the role of Prop and Environment Artist on the game Before Itās Too Late, designing sets, props, and characters for its unique style, and was the Concept & UI Artist for Last Man Standing and the Texture Artist for her Savannah Game Jam team. On the technical side, she was both a video game tester and a game design intern for Tiling Games, collaborating with a group to analyze various game trends for popularity and profit. In her free time, Madeleine enjoys playing (and making!) cute video games, watching anime, and designing spooky things!
More than all of her skills and hobbies, however, Madeleine enjoys challenging herself and helping others achieve what they didnāt believe they could do – making her the perfect fit for Game-U.Ā
