Mary Margaret earned her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Engineering & Information Technologies from Le Moyne College, and her master’s degree in TRF (Television Radio Film) from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. While attending grad school, she and her colleagues wrote and produced one of the first full-length 360 degree films, titled Royal Flush. She has more than a decade’s worth of learning and teaching experience in a variety of subjects, including sound and film editing, fashion design, drawing, Virtual and Augmented Reality (AR/VR), 2D and 3D modeling, 3D printing, programming, and with the worldwide Raspberry Pi project. She has literally written the textbook (two of them!) on subjects such as 3D scanning, printing, and even bioprinting (prosthetics). Most recently, she led her VEX Robotics students to victory in no fewer than three inner city state robotics competitions!
In Mary Margaret’s spare time, she has developed a passion for gardening, while she continues to take apart, repair, and rebuild computers, robotic arms, and other electronics. She is an avid video game player, with an especial love for Dungeons & Dragons, Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and Diablo.
