3D Doggie!
It’s not all code and programming. John B. and instructor Matthew are working on this awesome project – a 3D model of a German shepherd, made from scratch in Blender! (I just want to pet it. Someone let me pet it.)
As it stands, this doggo is well on his way to being finished. Using a reference picture in the background, John set up a 3D outline of it, and then began to refine the work further, rounding out the body loops and giving the model a tail, legs, and feet – the latter which, according to Matthew, he created all on his own – and as you can see, he’s done a great job! Next up, they’re going to finish up the paws and the head, and then get down to the real details.
Beautiful work, John! (Can I have the dog? I’ll walk him and everything. Promise.)
