This nugget is Teen.Coder Edison’s asteroids game! For reasons best known to himself, he went and made French fries in his space environment. (Who’s to say they don’t exist in space, right?) Instructor Rebecca challenged each student to code a unique object into his or her game – and Edison sure did!
Meet Alex F., coder extraordinaire, amazing storyteller, intrepid Explorer, and Game-U’s June 2020 Student of the Month! His project, a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure game made in Construct 3 with layers of complexity and choices, is…well, I’ll let him tell you. Once again, Dublin’s students are making names for themselves – learning about chemical reactions and energy, constructing a “working” 3D engine model in Tinkercad, and even launching rockets! Check out some of their work below.
