Dublin Animal Discovery Game is Ready to Play!

Back in July, Game-U history was made with the first Dublin pitch competition. The City of Dublin has partnered with Game-U to give a student the opportunity to make a full game for their website. With the help of an instructor, Austin D., Mia M. has done just that. Now, the Animal Discovery Game is finally live for everyone to play!
During Mia’s pitch to the judges, they were astounded at how much detail went into the presentation. A slideshow of photos and sketches showed her in-depth vision for the project. Her speech articulated how she planned to bring that vision to life. Months of work have led to an enjoyable game, which teaches about the variety of animals that call Dublin home!

In the game, you play as Maggie the Magnifying Glass, who is tasked with searching for animals around Dublin. When you visit a location, a 360 photo will pop up. Search for each animal in the photo, and add them to your journal. Then, you can read fun facts about all the animals you find. Travel to every location on the map to complete your collection!
Mia, a Voyager student and high school Freshman, leaves this experience with an awesome resume piece, pitch competition prize money, and a game to show off to friends and family for years to come!
