Game-U instructor, LIVE Director, and all-around champion Rebecca Lilley is in the spotlight this month!
Aaron is absolutely loving your class! He definitely has “the coding bug”!
Dara L., mother of Teen.Coder Aaron L.
Rebecca has been part of Game-U for four years, and teaching for all of it! From making tie-dye shirts with campers, to leading Adventurers and Explorers to greatness, all the way to inspiring, creating, and teaching her own classes and programs, including the three .Code classes, Homeschool Circle, and Creative Writing. She has and continues to wear many hats for Game-U’s sake – including managing, marketing, curriculum development, social media, writing, outreach, training, supervising summer camps, beta testing, organizing, launching, and directing Game-U LIVE, and much more – but her first love is still teaching, and her favorite part of that, she says, is her students and their families.
Thank you for doing this! It is good for them. I admire your patience!
Peggy N., mother of Alexandra and Constantine N.
This affection goes both ways! Rebecca’s students and their families never fail to thank her for her efforts and patience, and look after their favorite teacher from afar, from wedding presents to well wishes to the occasional (and much appreciated!) chocolate.
You could NOT possibly be more helpful![…] You’ve definitely found your calling.
Marla R., mother of Cayla R.
And last but not least, this touching demonstration of appreciation from longtime Girls.Coder and frequent XP Champ, Riya B., who created this presentation as a means to commemorate Girls.Code 2019. Enjoy! (Bonus: if you speak binary, there’s a hidden message in there for you to decode!)
You’re an integral part of Game-U, Rebecca, and we’re very grateful to have you with us. You deserve to be in the spotlight!
