Student Tahj J., with the help of instructor Ndubisi, is leveling up! Check this out – it’s part of his work-in-progress platformer game.
Working both in Godot Engine and Piskel, Tahj is finishing up this level of his lovingly developed game! He’s completed the enemy tank’s projectile design and implementation (the tank now fires a projectile to damage the player!) Likewise, he’s added in a Resetter object, which automatically “resets” the level if the player falls off the stage. As a final touch, there are now “Side Moving Platforms” programmed to change their speed according to input!
Next up: a giant crab.
No, really. I wouldn’t joke about this. There’s a giant crab coming up, and according to Tahj, it’s going to be the terror of his game’s second stage. I can’t wait to see, guys!
