Design Theme:
Your challenge is to create a rolling ball style game, with the ball controlled by the player in some way. Camera angles, and actual movement options are up to each of you as the designers. Think about fun ways to allow players of your game to explore and progress through your game. Entries will be judged by a panel of GAME-U Instructors who will be looking for creativity, technical skills, and of course the fun factor!
Game Design Requirements:
- Each game design must have the ability for the player to control a ball (or ball-like object) via keyboard, mouse, controller or some combination of these
- The controls must include movement of the ball in at least 2 directions. It may also include the ability to jump, speed boost, size changes, etc., but they are not required
- There must be a clear end goal for the player to reach. This end goal may be a location that the player needs to navigate to, or the goal could be to collect a certain amount of tokens.
- Other goals are acceptable, as long as it is clear once the end goal has been reached. This can be accomplished with a simple on-screen text message saying “You Won!”
