Meet Noah F., artist, crafter, Marvel movie fan, macaroni-and-cheese devotee, and coder extraordinaire – Flemington’s November 2019 Student of the Month!
At heart, Noah’s an independent worker. Give him paper, pencils, tape, and cardboard, says Ms. Anna of Game-U’s Traditional Art class, and he’ll always surprise you with what he comes up with.
Never satisfied with only the basic requirements, Noah strives to go above and beyond, working quietly to outshine himself each time. Check out one of his projects below to see for yourself!
While Noah enjoys working alone, he’s equally comfortable being part of a team. He’s a patient teacher to his peers when called on, taking the time to show them his own method but also giving them the room to succeed on their own.
Most recently, Noah’s been tackling this Explorer-level Artillery Game, made in Construct 2. Using the program’s event system, Noah programmed actions to follow events and conditions, resulting in this Angry Birds-style project. Once again, Noah exceeded expectations, making five levels instead of the required three!
Congratulations, Noah! For your independence, quiet focus, diligence, helpfulness, quality work, willingness to be you, determination to succeed, and commitment to grow, you are Game-U’s November 2019 Student of the Month! We are all rooting for you to reach ever higher.
