Pioneering Dungeon Development!
The everyday keeps happening, and it’s no less cool for being something that, you know, happens every day at Game-U. Check out what’s happening in the middle of the newest unit, Tower Defense!
Dublin’s Tuesday Pioneer students are getting well into the swing of defending their towers. Working in GameMaker 2, they’ve programmed their enemies to take damage, developed their sprite art for towers and projectiles alike (my personal favorite is the dragon!), debugged and refined scripts, and are now working on the concept of parent-child programming. Everybody’s focused and moving forward! Keep up the good work, guys.
Bonus – Flemington’s Voyagers are likewise already plowing through the curriculum! Check out their colorful animations and characters for the “Dungeon” level above, carefully set up and coded so that their Knights and Archers can move idly, attack, and run on command!
