Roll-a-Morty Ready to Play!

January 10, 2018 | Written by: Rebecca Lilley | Leave a Comment

Morristown, NJ

Remember Jordan? He’s teamed up with instructor Erica as part of Game-U’s Accelerate program. With Erica’s help, Jordan built a roll-a-ball game – complete with an alien head named Morty as the roll-a-ball player – and now, he’s published it!

Using a site called itch.io, a browser-based way to share and play indie games, Jordan created a profile under the name “Harris the Wannabe Hulk.” He even drew a pixel version of the Hulk as his avatar. (Jordan’s a Marvel fan, naturally.) His Roll-a-Morty game is now available for anyone with a browser to play! Just follow this link: https://jhr717.itch.io/roll-a-morty. Then click the game screen, use the arrow and spacebar keys to navigate Morty through the maze, and have fun! Don’t forget to follow “Harris the Wannabe Hulk” to stay current with all Jordan’s games.

Thanks for sharing Roll-a-Morty with us, Jordan! It’s exciting to see your work out there in the world of indie games. No doubt Roll-a-Morty is just the first in a long series of cool projects!
