About Me
Corey is a freelance Roblox developer, a contract game developer, and a software and senior game systems engineer who is now bringing that expertise to the field of education! He aims to spread the joy and fun of game development to the next generation through project-based learning. Above all, he hopes to mentor and guide interested students to help them be curious and explore.
In his free time, Corey enjoys cooking, gaming, and reading.
Achievements
- Graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science at age twenty-two
- Worked with a variety of brands to create unique and fun Roblox experiences, gathering over 12 million visits
- Created multiple client-driven, effective, and unique in-game systems for both live and developing games (Crown Wars, Dragonball Online Generations, and Shinobi Tension)
- Developed (solely or as part of a team) multiple projects, including CurioCity, PACWORLD: PacSun Mall Tycoon, and George Ezra’s Gold Rush Kid Experience
- Has extensive experience in a variety of applications, IDEs, and languages, such as Roblox Studio, Eclipse IDE, Spyder IDE, Visual Studio, NetBeans, Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, GitHub Desktop, Microsoft 365, Trello, Monday.com, Lua, Luau, JavaScript, C++, Java, Python, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, and PHP 5
