About Me
Laurel is a dedicated 3D artist, programmer, game developer, and professional who specializes in a myriad of subjects, including rigging, retopology, Python coding, animation, and much more. Above all else, Laurel is a lifelong student who is delighted to have the opportunity to serve as an instructor and share her passion for creativity and learning with others!
In her free time, Laurel enjoys weaving, crocheting, gaming, and playing with her cats.
Achievements
- Holds a BFA in Animation with a minor in Rigging from the Savannah College of Art and Design
- Rigged the “Mindflayer” and “Demogorgon” on SMITE for the Stranger Things crossover event
- Coded a library of animation pipeline tools (in addition to a batch exporter) as the sole character technical director for an indie studio
- Author of or contributor to multiple published or as-yet unpublished games and projects, including an unannounced VR game, a sci-fi project in the works, SMITE, Stormland, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, among others
