About Me
A skilled pixel artist and 2D animator, Michael (or “Mike”) likewise specializes in game development and level design, working fluidly with a variety of programs and cutting-edge tools to accomplish his visions. A focused teacher with a diligent work ethic, Michael’s dedication to his students is clear in every class. His fundamental goal is the same as it has always been: to help the next generation realize their dreams, through game creation, art, programming, and more!
In his spare time, Michael enjoys writing, science fiction, anime, comics, and 3D printing.
Achievements
- Graduated from Rutgers with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication
- Published Antipole, a project that made it to the semifinals at a Global Game Jam, on Nintendo DSiWare
- Authored the puzzle game Crazy Candyfish, available to play on Steam
- Familiar with a broad range of applications and languages, including Unity, Unreal Engine, GDevelop, Construct 3, GameMaker Studio 2, JavaScript, HTML, Blender, Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point), Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects), Krita, and Piskel
