Do you know what video games, websites, apps, and architecture all have in common? They all rely on art to create! At GameU, we teach students the fundamentals of 2D art that can lead to many future educational and career opportunities.
Importance of Art
2D Art is where everything begins, from creating cool characters for a video game, to designing airplanes & spaceships.
Marketable Skills
By learning how to digitize their ideas, your child will gain valuable skills that will set them apart for future opportunities.
A Portfolio of Work
Students will have fun working on cool projects that they’ll be able to showcase in their growing portfolio and publish online.
Tech Requirements
- Recommend a minimum 10 Mbps and 10 Mbps (up/down) internet speed.
- 2 or 3-button mouse with scroll wheel will enhance experience in all classes (Recommended, not required).
- Microphone + Speaker or Headset with Mic and (optional, but preferred) a video camera.
- A minimum of 3 GB free storage on your computer is recommended for most classes. Voyager+ (and Video Editing) level classes require a minimum of 10 GB of free storage space.
- Windows or Mac with at least 8 GB of RAM.
